This past Katsucon envirion and I decided to actually cosplay from a recognizable series! (We tend to cosplay obscure characters that few people know about.) It was fun walking around the con as Ursa, having people tell me what an awesome Azula I was. Someone even thought I was crossplaying as Lord Ozai! (Envirion cosplayed Kya and was told she made a fantabulous Katara. Ahh, misinformed fans.)
For this cosplay I wanted the simple cartoon look as opposed to making it 'more realistic'. (This was my break from Hyung Tae Kim's complex designs.) This costume was a great experience and I discovered an awesome thick double iron on adhesive 'interfacing' to make the collar. You can find more images on my website. [link] |
